About ITI Colonna Hotels & Resorts Aglientu
ITI or IstitutoTuristicoItaliano was established by Soc. EserciziAlberghieriAffini in 1921. It is based in Rome, in Piazza Montecitorio 12 in the prestigious Hotel Milano. That hotel went through a big makeover in 1975/76 and was turned into Colonna Palace Hotel. Over the years, ITI Hotels Group’s properties evolved into a diverse collection of units making a total of 10,000 residential rooms. They have also accumulated 40 properties, and 2730 of the beds in these buildings are on the eastern coast of Sardinia. The company was brought forward into the century due to its reliance on the tradition back in its birth in 1921, which was self-management. Many hotels are subsidiaries, but ITI remained its own hotel brand and manager.
The ITI Colonna Hotels & Resorts is now known as a national leader among hotel groups in Italy, also for its self-management. It has 1001-5000 employees and is a public enterprise. With the leadership of Sergio Usai, the hotel’s director, the brand has also extended its operations in Costa Rica, Caraibi West Indies, Brazil, and USA. The locations of the ITI Colonna Hotels & Resorts are all strategically laid out in coastal regions as part of the brand’s signature.
