Otherwise known as Atlanta Airport, Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport serves the greater part of Atlanta, Georgia. The airport is the primary international airport that is situated 11 kilometers south of the District of Downtown Atlanta. Since its inception in 1926, Atlanta Airport had been busy, serving passengers flying to and from the airport. The airport was named after William B. Hartsfield and Maynard Jackson, former mayors of Atlanta. As of 2018, the airport had served over 100 million passengers, with 895,682 aircraft operations.

ATL Airport has a total of five runways, 1 helipad, two terminals, and a total of 192 gates. The airport has 152 gates that are dedicated to domestic airlines and 40 gates for international airlines. The western side of the domestic terminal building has two divisions, which are the Terminal South and the Terminal North. Upon arrival at the airport, head off to its surrounding cities for vacation, such as Vinings, that is located across the Chattahoochee River, or at Sandy Springs, a city in northern Fulton County.
