BB&T Center
BB&T Center is known for its several names like National Car Rental Center, Office Depot Center and Bank Atlantic Center. It is an indoor arena situated in the town of Sunrise, Florida. It is main home court for the Florida Panthers of National Hockey League. The center was completed in 1998 and cost about $185 million. The funds are entirely coming from the public. The center is featuring about 70 suites and can seat about 2000 people. In 1992, an NHL franchise was obtained which is known to be the Florida Panthers. The team practiced with the Miami Arena. The Sunrise local government solicited for the construction of the arena. It was done in 26 months and ready for the NHL season. The first concert held was performed by Celine Dion.
