Bandaranaike International Airport is one of the major international airports in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The airport is locally known as Colombo International Airport as well as Katunayake Airport. The airport’s name was a tribute to its former Prime Minister Bandaranaike. Situated 20 miles from Colombo, the county’s capital, it is currently under the management of the Airport and Aviation Services of the country. There are three terminals at the airport - Terminal 1,2 and 3. Terminal 1 is the largest and the oldest terminal in CMB Airport.
