The Eisenhower Center is located on a campus in Abilene, Kansas and sits next to the Dwight Eisenhower Presidential Museum, Library, chapel, and boyhood home. His boyhood home is where the 34th US president lived until his final resting place. The library, on the other hand, is one of 13 presidential libraries supported by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Visitors can access the Visitor Center for free and can visit the complex daily. The visitor center houses a gift shop and a theater where a short film about Eisenhower is shown daily. The chapel is also referred to as the Place of Meditation and is the final resting place of the First Lady and first-born son.
