Esquel Airport – EQS
Esquel Airport is a public-use airport operated by the Government and Aeropuertos Argentina 2000. This international airport can be found in Esquel, Argentina, in the province of Chubut. It goes by the IATA location identifier of EQS and ICAO code of SAVE and primarily serves the city of Esquel and its neighboring towns.

The Esquel Airport’s construction dates back to 1944, and the following year, it was officially opened to the public. A new passenger terminal in Esquel Airport was built in 1978 and covered a total land area of 1,050 square meters. Its hangar also has the same size, while its two runways, numbered 05/23 and 08/26, span to a length of 2,400 meters and 1,232 meters, respectively. Today, only AerolíneasArgentinas and LADE Airlines scheduled flights to and from Esquel Airport and handled over 46,000 passengers in 2016 alone.
