Ministro Pistarini International Airport - EZE
Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) is the official name of the international airport that serves Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as its metropolitan area. It is more commonly known as Ezeiza International Airport because of its location in Ezeiza, 14 miles away from the country’s capital and largest city. The airport is named after Juan Pistarini, the former Minister of Public Works who placed the cornerstone of the airport project in 1945. Upon the opening of the airport, it was the world’s third largest airport. It is also the hub for LATAM Argentina, Aerolineas Argentinas, and Austral Líneas Aéreas.

The Ministro Pistarini International Airport covers 8,590 acres of land, and features 2 asphalt runways and one terminal building with 3 passenger terminals. Around 85% of Argentina’s international traffic passes through this airport, making it the country’s largest in terms of passenger numbers. This airport is the gateway for other cities and towns in the Buenos Aires province, such as Caseros and Boulogne.
