Founded in 1816, Jackson is the biggest city in Clarke Country in the state of Alabama that was named after the seventh United States President, Andrew Jackson. This former lumber town has grown into a progressive city embracing modernization and innovation over the past two centuries, but managed to retain its history and tradition.
