Capital Region International Airport – LAN Michigan
Capital Region International Airport is previously known as the Lansing Capital City Airport. It is situated in the northwest of downtown Lansing, Michigan. It is owned and managed by the Capital Region Airport Authority and is included in the Federal Aviation Administration. Though it is categorized as the non-hub primary commercial service facility, it was awarded in October 2010 with a grant from US Department of Transportation that helped launch flights from Lansing to Washington DC. The Capital Region International Airport is also an important asset in Lansing, Michigan.

The Capital Region International Airport covers almost three thousand acres of land and has three runways. It only has one terminal that is divided into four, two floors are allocated for passengers while the other two house the administrative offices and the control tower. The airport has nine gates and six jet ways. It serves more than three thousand passengers yearly. If you got hungry in the middle of waiting for your departure, there is a food court and cocktail lounge near the boarding gates. An ATM machine and currency exchange service is also available near the terminal entrance. A new coffee café and a brewing company-themed restaurant and bar is expected to open in late 2019. The Eaton Rapids and Portland are one of the must visit cities around the airport.
