Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport - LIR Liberia
The sprawling Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport is located within the city of Liberia, Costa Rica. It has the airport code LIR, which refers to the airport’s alternate name, Liberia International Airport. It is one of Costa Rica’s four international airports, and serves the major tourism hub of the western region. The LIR Liberia airport was named after a former Costa Rican president. The airport is located within 11 km from the city center, and was first inaugurated in 1995.
