Pershing Center, Lincoln, Nebraska, United States of America
The Pershing Center is a multi-purpose arena that can accommodate 4,526 people, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is considered as Lincoln's first municipal auditorium built in the 19th century. The most notable events that happened in the Pershing Center is the WWE/TNA house show wrestling events and the first concert of The Doors after Jim Morrison's death in 1971. As of 2018, the arena is still physically standing although it is no longer in use. Many proposals emerged from diverse groups suggested to improve the arena, however, due to lack of donation and government funds, the arena is long overdue. The good thing about the closure is that the government has no plan to demolish it yet.
