The Greater Rochester International Airport is located 6 kilometers southwest of Rochester, NY, United States is a public airport owned and operated by Monroe County. It began its operation back in 1927. The airport is considered the fourth busiest airport in New York and the second busiest compared to other airports located near the New York City metropolitan area. ROC-Greater Rochester Intl. serves as the home of the Aviation Support Battalion of the 642nd division as well as a section of the 42nd Infantry Division.

There are three runways at the airport, a concrete one measuring 8001 x 140 feet and two asphalt ones measuring 4,000 x 1000 ft and 6,401 by 150 feet. The concrete runways features Instrument Landing Systems. The airport can accommodate Boeing 717, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-700 as well as McDonnell Douglas MD-90 traffic.
