Saginaw: Don’t Just Drop By But Stay Awhile
There are less than 300 residents in Saginaw, Missouri. It’s a village in Newton County and part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. But its small population does not hinder visitors from enjoying the beautiful countryside terrain with rolling hills, oak forests and springs. The village is in close proximity to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas thus, the area is commonly called the 4-state region. Less than an hour away is the Atkinson Municipal Airport (PTS), located three nautical miles from the central business district of Pittsburg in Kansas.

Saginaw as well as Joplin savors a fine weather in the months of April until June. The area becomes fairly busy with tourist arrivals sometime in July.
