Salisbury: A Suburb Having Unlimited Fun and Entertaining Opportunities
Located in Brisbane, Salisbury had long been a rural area until the end of the World War II. Its name was taken after the former residence of the political figure and journalist, William Coote. Today, Salisbury is a suburb with many opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and recreation. Many tourists come to Salisbury through nearby airports including the Brisbane International Airport (BNE).
Best Time to Visit
You should make the most of your visit in the suburb. Exploring the sites and attractions is best done during August, the summer season in Salisbury. If you are not a fan of the rainy season, then avoid booking your Salisbury hotel on June. If you love the cold season, then you should know that January is the coldest time of the year.
