Burgas Airport - BOJ
An international airport that serves flights in Bourgas, Bulgaria, the southeastern region of the country, Burgas Airport is within the neighborhood of Sarafavo. Situated just a short 6.2 miles away from the city centre, it has been the major airport that serves the popular areas in the region for summer leisure and close to the beach recreation. In 2018, the airport had a record high of 3.27 million passengers, a 9.9% increase in passenger traffic compared to 2017. BOJ Airport is also considered to be the second largest airport in Bulgaria.

Flights to Moscow heading to Domodedovo Airport, Sheremetyevo Airport and Vnukovo Airport are the busiest route in the airport with 84 weekly departures in the area. A second terminal was built back in 2011 and replaces Terminal 1 what was built in the 1950s. It currently has 31 check-in counters, three boarding checkpoints, eight departure gates and nine security lanes. It has a current capacity of 2.7 million passengers in a year. Sunny Beach is the nearest local destination to the airport that features Aqua Parks and stunning beaches you can enjoy while in the region.
