The airport serves as a gateway to Toormina, Sawtell, Bonville, Bundagen and Repton to the south, Korora, Sapphire Beach, Monee Beach, Emerald Beach, and Sandy Beach to the north, and Karangi, Upper Orara, Coramba, Ulong, and Lowanna to the west.
