Geres: Gear Up For the National Park
In the municipality of Terras de Buoro in Portugal, there is the small settlement area called Geres, Portugal, that falls within the Peneda-Geres National Park. It is a humble village with little population. The town is surrounded by magnificent rivers, densely-forested mountains, and wide, grassy meadows. Summer is the best season to visit the town as this is the sole season when there is little to no chance of rainfall. There is no harm in trying the spa, a perfect way to get relaxed too. One of the dams located in the Peneda-Geres National Park is the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam. There are plenty of things to do both within the dam and the park.
