La Aurora International Airport is one of the most significant airports in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The airport serves the city and several others nearby regions. The Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil currently administers GUA-La Aurora Intl. Airport. After a massive modernization and expansion, the airport is now capable of handling higher passenger traffic and larger aircrafts.

La Aurora International Airport is the fourth busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic in all of Central America. It has surpassed bigger airports such as the ones in Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador. The Airport earned a Category 1 in June 2017 but lost it a year after in August 2018.
