La Florida Airport - LSC-La Florida
La Florida Airport is a public airport in La Serena, Chile. It is operated by the government sitting 147 meters above mean sea level. Located in a Pacific Coastal City located in the Coquimbo Region and is considered as one of the most important airports in Chile. Hills can be seen in the northern and southern areas of the airport. The airport has a non-directional beacon located half a nautical mile from the approach of Runway 12. LSC-La Florida Airport features two runways, one with asphalt covering and the other with grass. The asphalt runway is 1,938 meters long while the grass runway is shorter at 1,360 meters in length. Flights to Arica will be served by JetSmart by December 2019. Other destinations served in the airport include Antofagasta, Santiago de Chile, Calama and Iquiqe. Coquimbo is a nearby city located near the airport where you can enjoy plenty of fun outdoor activities.
