The Minsk National Airport, airport code MSQ, is the main public airport that serves Belarus, Minsk. It has an airport code of MSQ, and while it lies closer to the Smalyavichy Raion district in Belarus, it still falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Kastrychnitski District also in Belarus. The airport has also had its share of unfortunate incidents, with two fatal crashes in 1985 and in 2009 and a near crash in 2003, which luckily left no passengers or crew injured.
