Muharraq, Bahrain served as the capital of Bahrain before it was replaced by Manama in 1932 and it is the country’s third largest city. Since it is in Bahrain, Muharraq experiences a desert climate with little rain throughout the year. It is advisable to visit during winter season, which falls from December to February because the warmness is bearable.
