Sano: Enjoy a Shopping Galore
Known as the “Home of Cricket,” the Japan Cricket Association headquarter is in Sano, Japan, a city that is also renowned for its local ramen -- having over 200 ramen shops in the city center alone. It was previously a castle town during the Edo period. Though primarily a residential area, many tourists pay a visit to this sleepy town as Sano is home to several brand outlets that sell a wide array of goods (from fashion to sports to furniture etc.) at cheaper prices.
