Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee was inaugurated as the main theater venue of the state in 1980. It hosts various touring Broadway shows and special events regularly. It also serves as a venue for concerts, dance performances, plays, and other cultural programs. It offers a comprehensive educational program as well. Facilities include Andrew Jackson Hall, which has a seating capacity of 2,472; Andrew Johnson Theater, which has a seating capacity of 256; and James K. Polk Theater, which has a seating capacity of 1,075. 

One of the fun things to do in the area is to visit Sam Davis Home and Museum. Established as a log house in 1810, it currently serves as a museum honoring the memory of Sam Davis, a Confederate soldier. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, it has a porch in a unique Greek Revival architectural style. Another interesting site to visit in the area is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It is one of the world’s biggest museums and research facilities dedicated to interpreting and preserving American vernacular music. Tourists should also visit Tennessee Governor’s Residence.
