Tivat Airport – TIV Tivat
Tivat Airport is a public international airport located in the city of Tivat, Montenegro. It has an airport code of TIV and is being operated by Airports of Montenegro. The airport serves as the main airport catering Tivat city and the nearby city of Podgorica. Tivat Airport was opened to the public on the 20th of April 1957 with a single grass runway and now considered as the busiest international landing field in Montenegro and is the fastest growing air field in Tivat with nearly 1.3 million boarded passenger and around 6,800 aircraft movements in 2018.

Tivat Airport has a single asphalt runway with 12/32 direction, measuring 2,500 meters and positioned right along the Tivat Field. The airport has undergone renovation and modernization from early 1969 to mid 1971. With this expansion, the airport’s runway was changed to asphalt from grass, with bigger apron, lengthen taxiways and a brand new terminal for passengers. The airport has constructed another terminal in 2010 to cater the growing passenger year on year. Tivat Airport’s air flights are being catered by 32 airline companies to nearly 50 regular and seasonal flight destinations.
