Nanyuki: A Town Rich in Biodiversity
Laikipia County is considered to be one of Africa’s most prominent wildlife conservation areas and located in it is a quaint market town: Nanyuki, Kenya. It was founded by British settlers hence, a training site for the British Army is still operational in town and a base for the Kenya Air Force can also be found nearby. Nanyuki Airport, which only serves domestic flights, is found about 30 minutes from the town center. You can also book a flight through the Samburu Airport (UAS).
